Job summary

Schnitzer Family Campus - Mittleman Jewish Community Center & Portland Jewish Academy is looking for an Afterschool Inclusion and Behavior Support Specialist. This part-time position will provide on-site assistance to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with staff to create inclusive practices and support students' social-emotional growth.

The position offers a wage of $22.00–$26.00 per hour and includes benefits such as generous PTO, paid planning time, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or youth in educational or support settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with varying needs.
• Collaborate with program staff to implement inclusive strategies.
• Communicate effectively with families and external partners.
