Job summary

Plattsburgh YMCA is seeking Time counselors to provide a safe, fun, and engaging afterschool environment for school-age children. This role follows a daily schedule while leading crafts, games, homework support, gym activities, and outdoor play.

You will supervise children, lead group activities, and communicate with staff and families to ensure a positive experience in a structured program. This position emphasizes safety, energy, and teamwork within the YMCA setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable, energetic and organized.
• Ability to lead active games and participate in physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children.
