Job summary

The City of Springfield Human Resources is seeking an Afterschool Program Coordinator to ensure that the 21st CCLC grant requirements are met, including program components, reporting, and data collection. This role supports staff and partners to deliver high-quality afterschool and summer activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with project-based learning, maintaining daily attendance and records, facilitating meals, and promoting collaboration across in-school, afterschool, and summer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all programming components of the 21st CCLC grant program are fully implemented.
• Assist staff with implementing project-based learning (PBL) activities.
• Maintain daily attendance, snack sheets, incident reports, and related records.
• Facilitate food program and support meal-related tasks.
• Coordinate data collection and reporting as required by the grant.
