Overview

With the help of our local Spark Squad curriculum, this is a 5-hours-a-week job preparing and hosting afterschool club at Loa Elementary weekly, with the possibility of teaching in Hanksville once a month, in addition to helping the local 4-H Coordinator organize curriculum resources available through the Extension Office. This position is expected to continue through December 31st, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons with help from our Spark Squad curriculum
• Teach the after school club once a week at local Loa Elementary, with the possibility of 1x a month at Hanksville Elementary
• Help go through and organize curriculum resources available through the Extension Office

• Available to teach after school hours 3:30-5pm (tentatively 6pm if teaching in Hanksville once a month)

Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds, walking and standing.
