Job summary

Amazing Athletes, LLC in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Coordinator to manage on-site daily operations, supervise arrival/dismissal, and serve as the main contact for families, staff, security, and school partners.

You will support coaches, coordinate transitions, create monthly newsletters, and help enroll new families while maintaining safety protocols and professional relations during Monday through Friday, 2pm–6pm for the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required.
• Experience working with young children in educational or youth settings.
• Leadership/front desk/coordination experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Tech-savvy; able to respond to emails, update trackers, and maintain digital communication.
• Calm, compassionate, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, dependable, and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site contact for families, staff, security, and school partners during program hours.
• Monitor arrival/dismissal, track attendance and ensure release to authorized adults.
• Respond promptly to parent communication.
• Create monthly newsletters.
• Support coaches by managing transitions and starting classes smoothly.
• Communicate with off-site leadership regarding incidents or supply needs.
• Uphold safety protocols and program policies throughout the day.
• Provide classroom coverage when instructors are absent or delayed.
• Maintain a positive, professional rapport with families and staff.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and escalate when necessary.
• Promote growth and enrollment for the program.

We are a dynamic afterschool enrichment program dedicated to creating engaging, safe, and supportive environments where children can explore, learn, and thrive. We are currently seeking a highly organized, responsive, and nurturing Part-Time Coordinator to join our team.

Position Overview

The Coordinator is the on-site point person ensuring smooth daily operations. This includes overseeing arrival and dismissal with security, guiding students to their scheduled classes, managing basic communication, and stepping in for coverage when needed. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, responsive, and committed to supporting a structured enrichment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly responding to parent communication
• Creating monthly newsletters
• Support coaches and instructors by managing transitions and helping classes start smoothly

• Jersey City, NJ

Schedule:

• Day: Monday-Friday
• 4 hours a day, 2pm-6pm
• We are looking for candidates who can commit for the full 2026-27’ school year.
