Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Loveland, CO. Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students, using our structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and sportsmanship.

Teach a flexible schedule: 1–5 classes per week on weekday afternoons (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM). Earn competitive pay per class, with mileage reimbursement for travel between local schools. Training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational, recreational, or mentoring settings.
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, engaging sessions.
• Professional, positive, kid-friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship using structured curriculum.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and in-class activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
