Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after-school chess classes for elementary students in Downingtown, PA. You’ll use a structured curriculum, foster a fun learning environment, and reinforce good sportsmanship while traveling between local schools.

This fall role offers flexible hours (1–5 classes weekly), mileage reimbursement for long trips, and full training with ongoing support, with compensation of $50–$65 per class.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or similar.
• Ability to lead a class independently with engaging, friendly sessions.
• Strong punctuality and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using a structured curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, safety-conscious classroom environment.
• Travel to multiple local school sites for sessions.
