Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead cheer and dance programs for elementary students in Tampa and Hillsborough County. This part-time, after-school role runs weekdays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with 1.5-hour sessions.

Instructors will follow a provided curriculum and may teach 15–25 students per session. No weekend work or lesson planning is required, and curriculum, music, and equipment are provided.

Qualifications

• Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities.
• Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
