Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. in Dundee, FL is seeking energetic instructors to lead after-school cheer and dance enrichment for Dundee Elementary students. You will create an engaging, supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork and confidence.

The role is part-time and after school, Monday through Friday, with 1.5-hour sessions from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Curriculum, music, and equipment are provided, with no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Comfortable working with students in grades K-5.
• Must have reliable transportation to Dundee Elementary in Dundee, FL.
• Must successfully complete the Polk County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15-25 students
• Encourage confidence, creativity, and positive sportsmanship
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and dependable After-School Cheer amp; Dance Instructors to lead exciting cheerleading and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at Dundee Elementary in Dundee, FL.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $45 per session ($30 per hour)
• No weekends
• No lesson planning required
