Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking Part-time, after-school Cheer and Dance Instructors to lead engaging programs for elementary students. Instructors will run 1.5-hour sessions, Monday through Friday, with a salary of $45 per session ($30 per hour).

In this in-person role, you will follow a provided curriculum, supervise groups of 15–25 students, and help children build confidence, coordination, creativity, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is a plus.
• Experience as a cheer/dance coach or instructor is beneficial.
• Reliable transportation to schools in Baltimore County/Baltimore City is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging cheer and dance sessions for elementary students.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities.
• Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students.
• Encourage confidence, creativity, participation, and positive sportsmanship.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
