Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking a part-time after-school Cheer/Dance instructor to work Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, teaching 1.5-hour sessions.

The role includes following a structured curriculum, supervising students, and providing a positive, active learning environment in local Alexandria schools. Ideal candidates are college students in related fields who enjoy mentoring kids and can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Cheer/Dance is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with elementary students (K–5).
• Must complete district background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Cheer/Dance to elementary students.
• Follow structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of 15–25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, and physical activity.
