Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, supporting, encouraging and helping with skill-building activities. You will also bring recipients into the community to grow personal goals outside the home environment.

We offer full and part-time positions, paid training, and a flexible schedule to fit your life while making a real difference in Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to recipients in home and community settings.
• Assist with skill-building activities and personal development goals.
• Follow care plans and document progress for supervisors.
