Job summary

ExpertCare in Southeast Michigan is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, supporting skill-building activities and encouraging growth. You will also bring recipients into the community to help expand and strengthen their personal goals outside the home environment.

Both full- and part-time positions are available, with a focus on compassionate, patient, and dependable care, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support in recipients' homes to aid skill-building activities.
• Take recipients into the community to foster personal goals outside home environment.
