Scholastic, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the Afternoon Shift (11 am–7:30 pm) to support the local branch in Albuquerque, NM.

You will supervise daily warehouse operations, lead staff, and collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate packing, inventory, and shipping. The role emphasizes supervision, training, safety compliance, and meeting productivity targets in a busy book fair distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with MS Office and warehouse scanning systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring and onboarding warehouse staff.
• Supervise and train warehouse personnel; maintain morale and productivity.
• Evaluate performance and set goals with Branch Manager; manage safety compliance.
• Oversee packing, inventory, and shipping; ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct/assist with physical counts.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to OHSA/DOT/EEOC.
