Job summary

Scholastic Book Fairs is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Warehouse Equipment Operator to support our peak periods. The role runs from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with a $18.00 per hour base rate plus a $1.50 shift differential after 2:00 PM, in Albuquerque, NM.

You will operate order pickers and related equipment, ensure safety, and help build book fairs for schools. The ideal candidate has forklift certification, good math and reading skills in English, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Familiar with operating battery/gas-powered equipment including forklifts.
• Able to read safety rules and manuals in English.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (e.g., order picker) safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Maintain neat, clean, and organized work areas per safety standards.
• Assist with inventory movements and cycle counts as needed.
