Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Belfield, ND to support the Store Manager in daily operations and drive store performance. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail environment and a focus on safety, brand standards and customer service.

The starting wage is $24 per hour, with shifts for afternoons 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm and flexibility for store needs. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of managerial experience in retail or food service and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous managerial experience in deli/kitchen, convenience store, restaurant or retail environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and be available to respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performs management duties as assigned or in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Directs and prioritizes the work of the store personnel.
• Enforce daily operating procedures for a clean, stocked and organized store.
• Maintain brand image standards and manage inventory and equipment.
• Assist with daily paperwork and computer entry.
• Possess capability to perform Sales Associate and Supervisor duties.
• Attend monthly safety and security meetings.
