Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Surgical Services supervisor to oversee reprocessing of reusable instrumentation and stocking of sterile supplies. You will lead CSR staff, coordinate case cart builds, and collaborate with OR and Supply Chain leadership to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications include a High School diploma (associate degree preferred), 2 years as a Surgical Technologist or Sterile Reprocessing Tech, supervisory experience preferred, and CSPDT/CRCST or CST

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or Sterile Reprocessing Technician.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Certifications CSPDT, CRCST, or CST; must obtain CSPDT or CRCST within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversees reprocessing of sterile instrumentation and stocking of supplies.
• Supervises staff and schedules shifts.
• Maintains inventory levels and quality control within the department.
• Coordinates case cart builds and sterilization processes; ensures regulatory readiness.
• Leads staff training and daily huddles with Surgical Services leadership.
• Collaborates with OR and Supply Chain leadership to optimize operations.
