Job summary

Sapp Bros. is hiring an Experienced Restaurant Cook for a 1 PM–10 PM shift at our Cheyenne, WY location. Earn $18–$20 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

You will prepare all menu items, stock and clean the kitchen, and work to ensure quality and timely service. Ideal candidates are 18+, team players, with willingness to learn, and able to pass required background and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness and ability to learn.
• Strong team-working skills.
• Willingness to adhere to dress code and maintain personal hygiene.
• Willing to obtain food handlers permit per state requirements; paid by Sapp Bros.
• Ability to provide proper documentation establishing identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background, credit, and employment reference check.
• Physical presence at assigned work site required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items to specifications and ensure quality and prompt ticket times.
• Stock and clean the kitchen.
• Cook and prepare all menu items, including Grab and Go items.
• Utilize the pressure fryers.
• Prepare and portion food before, during, and after service.
• Check temperatures and fill food safety logs.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain levels of food in hot/cold cases and freezers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and operate the industrial dishwasher.
• Perform duties assigned by management.
