Job summary

Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is seeking a part-time Food Server for afternoon shifts from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, three or four days a week, in a senior living community. You will prep and plate meals, deliver trays, and help keep dining areas welcoming for residents and families.

Join a team that values teamwork, safety, and quality dining. Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour with same-day pay, and prior food service experience in senior living is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact respectfully and positively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented dining environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong professional work habits.
• Ability to read and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with resident diet orders, menu standards, and portion guidelines
• Support safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices following state, local, and facility regulations
• Prepare and portion food items according to therapeutic and modified diet requirements as directed
• Assist with tray line service, meal delivery, and dining room support to ensure positive resident dining experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, serving areas, and equipment
• Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service
• Support a welcoming, customer-focused dining environment for residents, families, and guests

At Saint Mary of the Woods, we are seeking to add multiple Servers to our team! We openings on the following shifts:

• multiple openings for: 4:00pm - 7:00pm (three days a week)
• multiple openings for: 4:00pm - 7:00pm (four days a week)

Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

Experience Preferred

• One year of food service experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care dining
• Experience following diet orders, portion control standards, and food safety procedures
