Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Afternoons in Amana, IA. This role involves providing access control, patrolling a manufacturing and industrial site, and delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving duties, and background checks and drug screening may apply. As a full-time driver patrol, you will work afternoons with a focus on safety, clear communication, and professional conduct while supporting a welcoming work

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required for driving duties.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify ID and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access logs.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations.
