MedStar Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. This part-time role (1pm-5pm, four days a week) focuses on safe, high-quality imaging care in a team‑oriented environment.

You will perform fluoroscopy and radiographs, adhere to radiation safety, and support patient education and comfort. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, evaluating image quality, and ensuring proper patient identification and labeling.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT registration and US state license within required timelines.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Operates digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specifications.
• Maintains safety, quality, and patient identification procedures according to policies.
• Coordinates with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow and timely image delivery to PACS.
• Documents care activities in the EHR and communicates clearly with patients.
