Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology required, per program accreditation and licensing standards.
  • Effective communication skills with patients and team; basic computer skills preferred.
  • ARRT certification required upon hire; state licensure upon hire as applicable.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs according to physician specs.
  • Ensure patient safety and proper identification and labeling of images according to protocol.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adequate supplies in the assigned area.
  • Explain procedures to patients and obtain medical history; address questions to ensure comfort.
