Job summary
Amsted Automotive's TransForm Automotive division is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for the afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) with a 15% shift premium. Responsibilities include maintaining building, presses, and equipment, operating forklift equipment, and supporting assembly and press teams.
The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and adherence to documented procedures. Training in wastewater handling is provided; overtime may be required to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
- Manufacturing environment with regular noise exposure
- Follow safety procedures and proper documentation
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of building, presses, and equipment
- Operate forklift and man lift
- Support the assembly and press departments
- Participate in press set-ups and continuous improvement
- Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and document downtime
- Wastewater handling as trained
- Adhere to maintenance systems and work instructions
