Daimler Truck North America in Detroit, MI is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor for the Afternoon Shift to lead the daily SQDC targets across the engine assembly line. You will coordinate people, materials, and equipment to meet takt and output, drive real-time problem solving, and enforce standard work while developing team capability.

Competenze

• BS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience or 6+ years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of or ability to apply Lean/Continuous improvement tools and principles.
• Prior experience leading teams or projects to achieve elevated levels of performance and engagement in a manufacturing or logistics setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees is required.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required Supervisor training and apply learnings.
