Job summary

The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Afternoon Infant Teacher or Assistant Teacher for a part-time position. You will contribute to a safe, loving environment for infants and support core routines with a patient, nurturing approach.

Ideal candidates have infant care experience, basic ECE coursework, and a flexible afternoon schedule. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with licensing background checks required by MA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with infants in childcare preferred.
• ECE coursework or degree is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification (or current certification).
• Must pass required background checks per Massachusetts licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, hands-on care for infants in a safe, nurturing classroom.
• Support daily infant routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and sensory play.
• Implement age-appropriate activities promoting development.
• Communicate daily updates and milestones to parents.
