Job summary

XPO Logistics Freight Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our on-site dock team in Sparks, NV.

You will efficiently sort, load, unload, and secure freight using forklift and pallet jack, while following safety policies and using handheld devices to track shipments. The role includes a varied shift pattern (days, evenings, nights, weekends) with comprehensive benefits such as health, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods
