Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA, is seeking a Maintenance Worker for the Facility Department. The role performs floor care and cleaning across campus, inspects and repairs equipment, and maintains floors and carpets to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include snow removal during winter events, basic wall repairs, and assisting with minor construction tasks as needed. High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Floor care experience helpful.
• Must be able to operate small yard equipment effectively.
• Driver's License required.
• Wall repair and painting experience is required.
• Experience with taping, rolling, brushing and cutting edges.
• Sheetrock installation, taping, mudding and texturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care and cleaning across campus.
• Inspect and repair equipment and facility systems.
• Maintain hardwood floors and carpets with waxing/cleaning.
• Snow removal from sidewalks and facility exits during snow events.
