Job summary

Sartell-St. Stephen School District is seeking an Elementary Paraprofessional for the afternoon shift.

Under the supervision of a classroom teacher, you will support students with special needs, helping them stay on task, complete assignments, and participate in daily living and job-skill activities. Responsibilities include implementing IEP accommodations, assisting with instruction and behavior support, monitoring progress, and aiding with organization and routine.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Able to lift, pull, or move at least 50 pounds.
• Willingness to take direction from supervising teachers and work as a team.
• Able to accept students' disabilities and limitations.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP-based adaptations under teacher guidance.
• Assist students with basic skills, social skills, and daily living tasks.
• Help organize materials, track assignments, and support daily routines.
• Supervise students to ensure safety and monitor progress data.
• Assist with transportation when needed per IEP.
