Job summary

Timken in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher for the Afternoon Shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00pm–11:00pm).

You will monitor andon events, track downtime, and dispatch Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality per protocol, while building Excel-based reports and visual tools to support problem solving and KPI visibility.

Strong communication, multitasking, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required, and TMOS training will be provided on upcoming plant waves.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced problem solving skills and data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data mining, and Pivot tables for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor andon activation and coordinate response per protocol.
• Track downtime and escalate to Eng., Maint, and Quality as needed.
• Prepare data reports and dashboards to support root-cause analysis.
