Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation seeks an experienced machinist to operate manual and CNC mills/lathes, producing precision parts per GD&T. You will calibrate tooling, set registers and offsets, and verify dimensions against complex blueprints.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, quality, and equipment uptime; performing turning, milling, drilling, knurling, and threading as needed; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a machining certification program is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and multi-task.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill/lathe (manual/CNC) to produce machined parts per prints and GD&T.
• Calibrate tools/equipment to stay within parameters and troubleshoot fixtures and PMs.
• Set tool registers, offsets, and compensation; verify dimensions per blueprint and standards.
• Maintain safety and quality through proper operations and documentation.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, knurling, and threading as required.
