Job summary

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate lathes and mills, set up tooling, and perform basic programming changes to maximize productivity. You will read engineering drawings, verify first part qualification, and conduct routine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and produce parts that meet dimensional specifications, supporting our metal packaging manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and mills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture parts.
• Set up tooling and specified cutters.
• Make simple programming changes to maximize productivity.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform frequent checks of parts to ensure specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
