Avera Majestic Bluffs Hospice in Yankton, SD is seeking a Nurse Assistant in training to become a Certified Nurse Aide. You will provide direct personal care and support daily living activities to residents, while learning the CNA role within the multidisciplinary team at the skilled nursing facility.

The position offers an afternoon/evening schedule (5-9pm) with every third weekend/holiday coverage, and requires pursuing CNA licensure within 120 days.

Formación

• Nurse Assistant in training to become CNA.
• Provides direct, personal care to residents.
• Assists with activities of daily living.
• Documents vital signs and care notes.
• Must obtain CNA licensure within 120 days.

Responsabilidades

• In training to become Nurse Assistant certified and/or Medication Aide certified.
• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff.
• Performs blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration and weight; documents information.
• Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining clean environment.
• Supports families with emotional, educational and spiritual needs.
• Follows safety and infection control policies.

Educación

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days

High School or GED Equivalent
