Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide direct personal care to residents at Avera Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center. Positions require every-other weekend/holiday rotation with shifts 6am-10am, 6am-2pm, or 2-10pm.

CNA certification provided upon hire and eligibility to practice in SD. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vitals, document care, and help with mobility and meals while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification/licensing required or active license in state of practice within 120 days.
• Ability to perform essential nursing assistant duties with patient safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and selected non-routine duties per nursing staff instructions.
• Measures vital signs and documents information accurately.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, hygiene, transfers, and feeding as needed.
• Maintains clean environment and proper restocking of supplies.
