Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable support staff to work 1:1 with Recipients in Southeast Michigan, primarily in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, encourage personal goals, and accompany clients to community events to promote independence.

We value compassion, dependable individuals with strong communication skills who can follow care plans and maintain safety. Full- and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Must have reliable transportation to assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to Recipients in their homes.
• Assist with skill-building activities and personal goals.
• Accompany recipients to community activities to promote growth.
• Follow care plans and document progress as required.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

You will be working in our clients homes while supporting, encouraging and helping with skill building activities. You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.
