Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring ABA Technicians to work one-on-one with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental challenges in San Diego, California.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children and families.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of relevant college coursework or experience in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Document progress and milestones for each session.
• Follow and implement behavior plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Entry Level Pay Rate: $21 - $24 / per hour

Certified ( RBT / BCAT / ABAT ) Pay Rate: $25 - $29 / per hour

• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
