Job summary

ProMach, Inc. seeks an AM Engineer to provide technical support for installed equipment and aftermarket projects at our Deer Park, NY site.

The role collaborates with Field Service, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Parts teams to diagnose issues, design upgrades, and deliver reliable solutions that improve equipment performance. The position requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline, with a focus on solving complex equipment problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Equivalent combination of technical education and relevant manufacturing/equipment experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for installed equipment, machinery, and systems throughout the equipment lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or controls-related equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specs, manuals to identify components and determine solutions.
• Develop solutions for upgrades, modifications, retrofits, and performance improvements.
• Create and revise engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical docs for aftermarket projects.
• Support preparation of technical proposals and cost estimates for replacements and upgrades.
• Collaborate with Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service to define customer requirements and solutions.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Field Service, and Engineering to complete projects on schedule.
