Job summary

ZF is seeking an Aftermarket Account Manager to maintain ZF as a preferred partner across the Northeast and oversee NY, PA, NJ, and neighboring states from a remote location. You will translate the voice of the customer into strategy and coordinate across functions.

The role requires 6+ years in technical/sales in heavy truck, automotive, or aftermarket, with strong Excel and MS Office skills, and travel 50-75%. You will lead RFQs, drive growth, and ensure premium service across the value chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in technical/sales background, preferably in the heavy truck industry, automotive market, or Aftermarket sales
• Commercial Vehicle experience is highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Outlook and Teams; Strong Excel skills required
• Deep commercial understanding of the assigned region and/or customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Negotiation/Relationship management skills
• Ability to travel 50% - 75% of the time.

• Deliver premium service levels across the value chain from product development, through manufacturing, to delivery.

About the Team

The Aftermarket Account Manager – will be responsible for maintaining ZF as a preferred and reliable partner by managing all dimensions for assigned Aftermarket region/accounts. The focus is on continuously improving customer satisfaction and further enhancing the customer/supplier relationship through translation of the voice of the customer into the right customer strategy and serving as the central conduit for all customer related activities.

This is a remote position that will oversee the following territories: New York, Pennsylvania, Massacusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Maine, Vemront, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

Your Profile as an Aftermarket Account Manager

• 6+ years of experience in technical/sales background, preferably in the heavy truck industry, automotive market, or Aftermarket sales
• Commercial Vehicle experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Outlook and Teams; Strong Excel skills required.
