Job summary

Union Gospel Mission is seeking an Aftercare team member to support clients, housing residents, mentors, and program activities with excellence and grace. The role emphasizes ministry, faith-based values, and active Bible study participation.

The position includes supervising volunteers, assisting with budgeting, and coordinating weekly groups and events within a Christ-centered ministry.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year college degree in applicable field or equivalent experience in case management/addiction recovery/social work.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience providing spiritual support through prayer, listening, and encouragement.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the Aftercare Supervisor and support program components and events.
• Manage Aftercare housing: inspections, maintenance requests, move-in/move-out, and tracking requirements.
• Oversee resident budgeting, savings, and other case management needs.
• Assist with crisis and relapse support and resident transitions.
