Hanover Township seeks an After School Youth Program Assistant (PT) to support prevention programming and supervise youth participants after school. You will help maintain safety and engagement while applying PYD and RP methods in individual and group interactions.

Under the supervision of the After-School Program Coordinator, the role emphasizes being a positive role model and ensuring safety for youth served. Hours are 1:30 PM–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, on-site in Illinois.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• One year of experience in leading youth preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work regular evenings and occasional weekends as requested.

Responsabilités

• Implements programming and supervises participants in Prevention Services.
• Ensures safety and engagement of youth served.
• Models Positive Youth Development (PYD) and Restorative Practices (RP).
• Acts as a positive role model and supports the program mission.
