Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance in Waco, TX seeks a Part Time Youth Mentor to foster elementary students’ development after school by leading enrichment activities. This non-exempt, part-time role averages 17–20 hours per week and offers a chance to model Christian values while serving the community.

Requirements include being at least 17 years old, HS diploma or GED, ability to obtain CPR/First Aid, passing a background check, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred.
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
• CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Be a positive role model and minister of the Gospel.
• Work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school year.
• Possess CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Obtain background check
• Have dependable transportation
