Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County & Southern Utah is seeking a Youth Development Professional to empower youth at Mountain Trails Elementary. If you love working with kids, helping social-emotional growth, and creating a safe, fun environment, this is the right role.

Part-time position with roughly 15–18 hours per week, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM, Sep 14, 2026 through May 21, 2027. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Background check and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth (ages 5–18) in educational, recreational, or team settings preferred.
• Reliable team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong communication.
• Willingness to participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly paid training and development.
• Ability to supervise children, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor & Engage: Build positive, supportive relationships with youth through active engagement.
• Lead the Fun: Facilitate and participate in games, recreational activities, and enrichment programs indoors and outdoors.
• Support Growth: Model positive communication, empathy, and conflict resolution for social-emotional development.
• Maintain Safety: Provide active supervision to ensure a safe space for all participants.
