Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County & Southern Utah is seeking a Part-Time Youth Development Professional to support Cherry Hill Elementary after school programs. You will mentor youth, lead activities, and foster social-emotional growth in a fun, safe environment.

This role offers 15–22 hours per week at $15.00–$18.00 per hour, with summer opportunities. Training and development are provided to help you grow in education, recreation, and youth services.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth (ages 5–18) in educational, recreational, or team settings preferred.
• Reliable team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and engage: build positive, supportive relationships with youth through active engagement.
• Lead the fun: facilitate games, recreational activities, and enrichment programs indoors and outdoors.
• Support growth: help children develop social and emotional intelligence through positive communication and empathy.
• Maintain safety: provide active supervision to ensure a safe space for all participants.
