Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee is seeking dependable, energetic staff to help create a safe, positive environment for youth after school. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2-6 PM, in-person, part-time.

You will lead activities, read lesson plans, keep attendance, and support youth development goals across academics, health, and character. Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma, experience with children, and a keeping-kids-safe mindset with reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Some experience with children preferred; prior BGCA or similar experience is
• Must relate to young people, manage groups, and make activities FUN.
• Teamwork, patience, and creativity are essential.
• Be reliable and punctual; kids count on you and you must show up on time.

Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on programs for youth focused on Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.
• Prepare youth for daily activities and read lesson plans to set up materials.
• Ensure safe, engaging activities and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain group control and model professional conduct at all times.
• Oversee attendance, safety policies, and clubhouse cleanliness.
• May assist with special programs or events and occasional driving duties.
