Job summary

The Adams Park Club is seeking a Youth Development Professional (After School) to plan, implement, and supervise activities for an after-school program in Saint Louis, MO.

This part-time seasonal role requires a high school diploma (Associates or BA preferred) and experience with children in group settings; candidates must meet state licensing and background check requirements as outlined.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; Associates degree or BA/BS preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year with children in a group setting; management experience is a plus.
• Licensing: Missouri health exam, TB risk assessment, and background checks within required timelines.
• Physical/Emotional: Lift up to 20–25 pounds; stand/walk for extended periods; handle emotional topics and crises.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and supervise activities for assigned programs to achieve outcomes.
• Work with children in group settings and monitor safety.
• Maintain program documentation and participate in meetings and events.
• Foster positive relationships with members, families and staff.
