Job summary

Battle Creek Public Schools in Michigan seeks a Bearcats Beyond the Bell Youth Development Worker to provide fun, positive afterschool experiences at BCPS learning centers. You will create and facilitate hands‑on activities that strengthen reading, writing, math, science and SEL skills for students at elementary and secondary sites.

You will collaborate with other YDWs and the Extended Learning Coordinator to deliver engaging programming, serve as a positive role model, and support students’ SEL

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; postsecondary education preferred.
• Background in math, STEM, arts, or literacy preferred.
• Experience with youth development programs required.
