Battle Creek Public Schools is seeking a Bearcat Coach for Fall 2026 at Battle Creek Central Career Academies High School. This Edustaff position emphasizes improving student attendance and advocacy for Bearcat students within the BCPS system.
The Bearcat Coach will collaborate with staff to develop intervention strategies, monitor progress, and help create a safe and orderly campus environment that supports attendance requirements set by the district and state.

The Bearcat Coach is responsible for ensuring students develop and maintain good attendance practices aligned with the attendance requirements of the school district and the state. The incumbent will assist in creating a safe and orderly environment on the campus; work as a team member to develop prevention/intervention strategies; collaborate with other staff utilizing the case management process; monitor student progress; and document truancy referrals; serving as an student advocate of Battle Creek Public Schools to which he/she is assigned.
Salary: $17.00 per hour
