Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree or two years of college with a ParaPro passing score.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Generates tutoring plans with individual goals and enrichment activities.
• Develops academic exercises and small-group or individual instruction.
• Prepares materials and organizes classroom for tutoring.
• Reinforces classroom instruction and daily routines.
• Assists teachers with instructional activities and routines.
• Provides targeted support to students needing tutoring.
• Uses effective instructional and assessment techniques.
• Collects data for accountability and program development.
• Compiles reports and communicates with teachers.
