Job summary

Barbour County Schools is seeking an After School Tutor for a part-time, contract/hourly role through the end of the school year. The tutor will provide targeted instruction in English/Language Arts and mathematics after school, using iReady data to guide instruction.

Under the supervision of the Principal, this position offers up to 2 hours of tutoring per week at $35.00/hour, funded by federal grant funds as available.

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia teaching certificate endorsed in Elementary Education 0K-05 or Multi-Subjects 0K-05.
• Ability to provide targeted tutoring in English/Language Arts and math.
• Contract/Hourly employment as a tutor, up to 2 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted tutoring in English/Language Arts and Math after school.
• Use iReady data to tailor instruction to student needs.
• Work under the immediate supervision of the Principal.
