Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC is seeking an enthusiastic, entry-level After School Technology Teacher to guide students through our project-based curriculum in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing and game design. The role follows a full school year of 10-week sessions, with after-school hours from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, in Fort Bend ISD schools.

No formal teaching experience is required, but any classroom or youth-teaching background is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent.
Completed 48 college units minimally or have taken/passed NCLB exam or compliant equivalent.
Experience with technology or teaching preferred.
Reliable transportation throughout Fort Bend ISD to transport equipment (~30 lbs).
Available after school hours 3:00–6:00 PM, Mon–Thu, with consistent attendance.
21+ years old with experience with children ages 8–14 is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead after-school instruction guiding students through project-based tech curriculum.
Teach in-room with enthusiastic students in a 20:1 ratio.
Work during 10-week sessions with the option for additional seasons.
Deliver sessions in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing and game design.
Participate in paid training and develop classroom activities.
