Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC. is seeking an entry-level After-School Technology Teacher in Sugar Land, TX. You will guide students through project-based lessons in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing, game design and more.

The role offers part-time hours after school (3:00–6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday) with paid training. The program runs in 10-week sessions across the school year, with opportunities to continue into additional seasons.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed 48 college units or NCLB exam or compliant equivalent.
• Experience with technology or teaching preferred.
• Reliable transportation throughout Fort Bend Independent School District with ability to transport equipment ~30 lbs.
• Available after school hours (~3:00–6:00 PM), Mon–Thu.
• Consistent attendance is REQUIRED, substitutes are not available.
• Instructors must be 21+ with experience working with children ages 8–14 or technology.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Comfortable with teacher-to-student ratios of 20:1 for elementary students.
• Strong tech skills (3D modeling, digital arts, coding, etc.) or knowledge of Minecraft/Roblox including modding or streaming.

Responsibilities

• Lead Instructors guide students through project-based curriculum in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing, game design and more.
• Provide in-room teaching experience with excited students.
• Teach after-school program hours (3:00–6:00 PM), Mon–Thu.
• Support 10-week sessions with potential continuation into additional seasons.
• Paid training provided.
